About Me

Hi welcome to my web site. I work in my art cabin which is next to the sand arena were my husband George trains the horses.

George is a natural horseman and all my sculptures are of horses he is working with. I help George caring for our horses and growing vegetables, he helps me with some of the larger projects. We have two great boys, Daniel and Fred, they join in feeding horses or making things in clay or painting.

I've always loved horses. After school I went to work full time at a racing stables. I've always been attracted to the their energy and spirit.

George suggested I give art a chance. I thought it was a romantic notion. I was fortunate to get some advice from Peter Curling, he said “Get outside and sketch from life”. It was very good advice and is always the point I return to when I need ideas and inspiration.
